Summer Undergraduate Internships

South Dakota EPSCoR has supported over thirty internships the past two summers.

The internships are designed to give students a better understanding of the impact research has on our lives and how research affects technology based economic development (TBED).Interns have been hired in the areas of Business, Communications, Education, and Research.

“The goal of this internship program is to develop voices which can speak to the importance of research and an entrepreneurial culture in a 21st century economy. These students have had the chance to experience the sense of exploration and discovery and then help us communicate it.”
