2026 Student Poster Session at the Capitol

The South Dakota Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (SD EPSCoR) and South Dakota Board of Regents (SDBOR) are proud to co-sponsor the 2026 South Dakota Student Research Poster Session in the Rotunda of the State Capitol on Monday, February 23, 2026. This annual event, now in its 29^th year, showcases the cutting-edge research happening in South Dakota higher education. The undergraduate projects on display include student research in a variety of disciplines. This work speaks to the creativity and industriousness of our students and their desire to pursue a challenging education. Research involvement requires initiative that goes well beyond that of the regular classroom and develops problem-solving skills and specialized expertise. Students who have been actively involved in research make more productive professionals and more active citizens, regardless of their career choice.
