The Governor’s Giant Vision Student Competition

The Governor’s Giant Vision Student Competition will give you the opportunity to pursue your idea by writing a business plan and, if selected as a qualifier, make a formal presentation. A panel of business experts will review all entries and select qualifiers who will attend the final competition in April, when finalists will give presentations and discuss their ideas with seasoned business and financial experts.

2021 Competition Date

Due to the uncertainties of COVID-19, the date for the Giant Vision Competition has tentatively been set for Tuesday, April 27, at the Rushmore Plaza Holiday Inn in Rapid City.

• The application deadline for the Student Competition is Friday, Feb. 19, 2021, 11:55 p.m. CST.
• The application deadline for the Business Competition is Friday, Feb. 12, 2021, 11:55 p.m. CST.
