3D Printing Hybrid Workshop

Date: June 7-8 (Tuesday-Wednesday)
June 7: 9-11 a.m. (CDT)
June 8: 9-11 a.m. (CDT) and 1-3 p.m. (CDT)

Location: South Dakota State University, Brookings, SD, or virtual via Zoom

Training will cover several topics, including:

• From CAD design to production (basic learning Design concepts)
• Basics of CAD software (AutoCAD, Fusion 360)
• Advantages and limitation of 3D printing in biological research

3D Printing Hands-on Workshop

Date: June 8-9 (Wednesday-Thursday)
June 8: 9-11 a.m. (CDT) and 1-3 p.m. (CDT)
June 9: 9-11 a.m. (CDT) and 1-3 p.m. (CDT)

Location: South Dakota State University, Brookings, SD

Training will cover several topics, including:

• Detailed instruction and procedures for using the Photonic Professional GT2 (PPGT2) 3D printer (nano-scribe)
• Converting file to 3D printing file format
• Printing of actual devices (using DeSribe, Nano-write)
• Molding protocols (building microfluidics devices)
