National STEM Day will be celebrated on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2022, a day focused on helping students advance in STEM fields. The unofficial holiday celebrates science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education throughout the United States.

We want to showcase projects focusing on STEM. On Tuesday, Nov. 8, tweet out — or Instagram — a photo that you think represents your work and tag it with #STEMDay. Include @sdepscor, and we’ll “like” or share it.

Through initiatives such as the National Science Foundation’s (NSF) Inclusion across the Nation of Communities of Learners of Underrepresented Discoverers in Engineering and Science (INCLUDES) program, federal agencies are supporting the development and growth of STEM ecosystems that bring together school systems, colleges and businesses to broaden participation in STEM careers.
