The University Economic Development Association (UEDA) Summit 2021 will take place in Savannah, Georgia, on Sunday through Tuesday, Sept. 19 through 21.

Under its theme — Transformation: Forward Thinking in a Changing World — the summit will explore planning for a post-pandemic world and the new thinking required to grow regional economies, including education systems, innovation centers, and community development.

Speaking at the summit will be economic development professionals, who are leading the “transformation” to making economic development practices more inclusive, equitable and collaborative. The summit is especially open to those in higher education, economic development organizations, the public sector and private partners.

Established in 1976, the University Economic Development Association has been working to bring together higher education institutions, private sector businesses, non-profits, government organizations, and community economic development stakeholders to create local and regional economic opportunity. Membership has grown to more than 160 organizations, who represent those at the leading edge of modern economic development thinking and practice.
