Target Audience: Undergraduate STEM Education Students attending South Dakota Universities (includes all elementary majors and secondary STEM majors)
Dates: February 11 and March 11, 2023 (Saturdays)
Location: Virtual
Virtual training for undergraduate STEM education students attending South Dakota universities is offered Saturday, Feb. 11, and Saturday, March 11, 2023, from 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. MST (9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. CST). Limited to the first 25 registrants!
Session Description
The purpose of the Fundamentals of 3-Dimensional Science Instruction workshop is to strengthen participants’ understanding of three-dimensional science teaching and deliver support in meeting South Dakota’s K-12 Science Standards. Participants will also learn about science and engineering research underway at universities across our state and become familiar with a K-12 curriculum module that relates to the research.
