Hello! My name is Angie Plaine and I teach 6th grade
science at Harrisburg South Middle School. I have been
teaching science for 14 years! I have been fortunate over the years to have taught everything from AP biology, ecology, and physical science to chemistry classes. Through the years, I have found that teaching middle school is my jam! Recently I have been focusing my energy on incorporating personalized learning and technology into my classroom. My school day is exciting because I am a member of 6th grade cohort, along with a social studies and ELA teacher. We work together to let the students decide how their day will look and to help guide them to do what is best for their learning, each and every day. Teaching science is awesome because I love to see the excitement, passion and innovation my learners have when they get to work on and learn about something they are passionate about!
