JOSH CHRISTIANSEN
Josh Christiansen is an Ag, Food, and Natural Resources (AFNR) instructor at Flandreau Public School in Flandreau, SD. As a 15-year AFNR teaching veteran, production Agriculture is rarely taught in his classroom. Rather, he is committed to incorporating science and advanced technology into the courses he teaches. This includes a great deal of biotechnology, drone implementation, and CNC programming.
Along with teaching a plethora of AFNR courses, Josh advises the Flandreau FFA Chapter. The FFA provides a multitude of additional opportunities for students to learn more about Ag careers and develop the soft skills necessary for success.
Josh and his wife Christine have three children; Abbott, Harper, and Audie. In his rare spare time, he enjoys completing welding and construction projects as well as playing softball and coaching his kids’ athletic endeavors.
