Hi! My Name is Kayla Schindling. I teach 6th grade Earth Science at Edison Middle School in Sioux Falls, SD.
I completed my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education at the University of Sioux Falls. I earned my Masters degree in Science and Curriculum Instruction through Black Hills State University in 2017. Throughout my Masters studies, I placed an emphasis on understanding and implementation of the Next Generation Science Standards. I love teaching science because it builds on middle school students’ natural curiosity.  I enjoy creating lessons and learning experiences that engage all levels of learners. I am passionate about science and the learners I work with every day!
